You don't need to go far to see wildlife in the Fraser Valley. Abundant wildlife nearby includes deer, elk, moose, black bear, fox, coyote, a variety of birds of prey including bald and golden eagles and red hawks.

Nearby Rocky Mountain National Park, the headwaters of the Colorado River, provides many opportunities for education by the rangers, hiking, spectacular scenery above timberline, fishing and photography. Visit the park at dusk and see elk in the rut, moose and deer.
